Thermal machines heat up the solution which spreads the evaporated solution throughout the air, while a ULV machine uses pressure to spread the solution via compressed, tiny particles.
Mistake #2: You’re trying to treat a large area with a handheld machine
In most situations, you don’t want to attempt to treat a large area with a handheld fogger due to the time it would take to apply and the added physical labor. If you need to treat a large outdoor area, consider purchasing a truck mounted fogger which can be operated while the vehicle is in motion, allowing it to be spread over a large area with little to no physical exertion.
Mistake #3: You’re using personal machines for commercial use
There are many types of fogger machines out there, including smaller machines instead for personal residential use. It can be tempting for businesses to use these machines for their commercial sites due to the attractive low price, but these personal machines are not intended to be used for long periods of time, over large areas, or even with certain industrial grade solutions. Always use a commercial, high quality machine for business spraying.
